Pride Center of Vermont (PCVT) are our partners in the Essex Pride Festival, and we would not be able to have this event without their collaboration. PCVT is the region’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and the health and safety of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Vermonters.

100% of all proceeds from Essex Pride will go to PCVT.

It’s our mission to serve high quality products without pretension, taking pride in our work and treating others with respect and kindness. We value integrity, and put this into practice at every level of our business.

We make as much as we possibly can from scratch.  From the bread your breakfast sandwich is on to the chocolate syrup in your mocha, to the coffee beans you love to brew (and much more).  When you come in, you’ll have a truly unique experience because of this.

Located in the heart of Essex Town in the Essex Experience, Uncommon provides a large and comfortable space for all to share.  Whether you're a group of people looking for a place to meet and relax, or an individual working from your computer, we have a home for you here.  Come enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or join us for a meal.

We use the magic of the arts to engage the capabilities and enhance the confidence of children and adults with disabilities.

Our vision is that through our work in the arts, Vermonters of all abilities will have equal opportunities to engage in their communities and express themselves. We envision a Vermont where any person with a disability can enter any arts organization or learning environment and fully participate to the extent that they desire.

Inclusive Arts Vermont is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts and education organization. We partner with community organizations of all kinds, in all regions of the state to engage thousands of participants in arts education, training, and exhibition programs.

Sit Pretty Grooming Salon provides professional grooming services to both cats and dogs.  We offer grooming by appointment in addition to some walk-in services. Our mission is to pamper and care for each pet as if they were our own.

Our motto is simple, yet profound; Good Jobs, Good Treats.

Our vision is to offer a practical solution to a real problem. We explored making dog treats and we fell in love. Mixing, baking, packaging, oh my! Fast forward two years and Bellcate School Dog Treats is fully operational.

Students in special education with disabilities need meaningful education and employment and your dogs need good treats.  With each purchase of Bellcate School Dog Treats, you are supporting both. Students and their families are filled with hope and enthusiasm about the far reaching impact of our program.

Our work contributes to Vermont (and beyond) becoming a place where we continue to grow our capacity to live in true community with each other. A place where all people succeed, regardless of their zip code, their age, their race or ethnicity, their sexual orientation, gender or ability status.

Vermont is working towards the benefits that come from building authentic, equitable, anti-racist communities and organizations.

We imagine a Vermont where we love and appreciate each other, celebrate our joys together, and work collectively (and effectively) to solve our common challenges.

During this challenging time, we are as committed as ever to our mission, vision and values. This includes our commitment to community involvement and support for the well-established programs and teams dedicated to enriching the lives of people around the globe. As OneGF, we not only deliver technology for humanity, but also pride ourselves in giving to and supporting the communities we call home.

Momentum for meetings began at the It Takes A Village: Voices for Equity & Belonging Summit on December 1, 2018.

The original VIEW committee, co-facilitated by Staff at EWSD and the Essex Community Justice Center, began meeting September 2019.

The committee brainstormed areas that need to be addressed and better understood in order to create a community in which every member has the opportunity to be successful.

More than 200 action ideas were listed by 80 summit participants and VIEW is now turning these ideas into action.

Through collaboration community partners, VIEW hosts in-person and virtual events such as cultural celebrations, book reads, potlucks, and movie screenings.

The last few years have been big for Grace Kahn. Last summer she posted an ad on Front Porch Forum for her freelance services as an electrician; now she's the owner of Village Voltage, a Williston-based company that employs a master electrician and an apprentice. She came out as a trans woman in 2018, and she says that embracing her true identity motivated her to start the business.

This could be you! How can you become a sponsor?

We have limited Essex Pride Sponsorships available at different tiers beginning at $200, which include a special feature on our website, shout outs on social media, recognition from our MC during the Festival, a customized gift to be determined, tickets to the official after party, and our undying gratitude for helping to make this day happen.  Full sponsorship packets, pricing, and incentive options are available if you email us at EssexVTPride@gmail.com

As we've stated before, any money we accept will go towards our direct costs. 100% of any additional money will go directly to the Pride Center of Vermont and other community organizations.

This is not a corporate Pride event where anyone can buy their way into allyship. We encourage artists, organizations, and businesses who either are a part of our LGBTQIA+ community or who actively and openly support our community to consider being our sponsors for what we know will be an incredible day.

Sponsorships are not available for politicians or individual political campaigns, but we encourage groups who fight for LGBTQIA+ rights and actively combat and speak out against harmful and hateful bills attacking our community to submit a vendor form to table at the Festival at no cost.
